    Reference Services assists students, faculty, staff, and the local community in identifying, locating, and retrieving information in a variety of formats.     The two major goals of the Reference Department are to: (a) facilitate access to library collections and to the informational content of those collections through direct personal service to the Library's patrons; and (b) support the College's instructional program through providing formal and informal library and bibliographic instruction.   Library instruction classes are held in MLC and MLC J in the Moody Learning Center. Online students can schedule a meeting with the Online Learning Librarian, Celita Avila, via Zoom. Library Instruction classes are taught by appointment only and may be scheduled for any regular class meeting time.
